The Inward facing Garden
2026 NW Flower and Garden Festival Show Garden
Designed by award-winning Snohomish garden designer Denise Ashley of GardenGirls, LLC, The Inward Facing Garden invites visitors into a meditative haven that blends modern design with timeless tranquility. Curved bamboo tunnels rise like living architecture, creating natural sound barriers and a feeling of enclosure.
A glowing orb of light at the center represents the spark of creativity—the quiet moment when inspiration is born. The spiral-patterned paver labyrinth draws visitors inward toward that light, symbolizing the creative journey.
Materials include wood planters and sustainably harvested teak seating. The design encourages reflection and sustainable choices for both private homeowners and public wellness spaces.
